How do I edit a scanned business card?
I have a business card that OfficeMax did last year and I need more cards. The problem is that I want to use Vistaprint but the email address on the card is wrong. How can I scan and edit the address before I upload it to Vistaprint? We love our design so dont want to change.
As far as editing the scan, this cannot be done. The scan will be an image, so you will not be able to just edit the text like you would in Microsoft Word.
What you can do is to scan the card into the computer, then open it in a graphics editing program, such as PhotoShop or even Windows Paint. Place a filled-in box over the old e-mail address that is the same color as the card's background, then place your new e-mail address over it, and save the image. Should print out just fine; just make sure that you have the image's resolution set to 230dpi or greater.
